Aircraft Avionics Engineer

This role involves working as part of a team to ensure the company aircraft are maintained to a high standard, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to ensure aircraft are up-to-date and safe for flight.
  • Assist in the timely completion of company and customer regulatory audits.
  • Understand and comply with company safety precautions and policies.
  • Work at Ottawa head office and SGL field bases worldwide.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with an "E" licence.
  • Experience on C208 and DHC-6 aircraft is an asset.
  • Garmin installation experience is an asset, as SGL is a Garmin authorized dealer.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for occasional field work.
  • Knowledgeable understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations.
  • Valid passport and driver's licence.
  • Ability to obtain Transport Canada restricted area pass.
