Diesel Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at NEW BEST TRUCK REPAIR & TIRE LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect diesel engines to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engine issues using computerized testing equipment
  • Order parts and maintain inventory of diesel engine components
  • Adjust and repair diesel engines, including fuel injection systems, cooling systems, and lubrication systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating diesel engines
  • Test repaired diesel engines to ensure proper performance and manufacturer specifications
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in diesel engine repair
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy equipment
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a well-equipped shop with modern tools and equipment. The work environment is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
