Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in dispensing, selling, and compounding medications
  • Perform various tasks related to pharmacy operations, including receiving and processing medication orders
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to pharmacy activities
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Completion of a recognized Community College Pharmacy Technician course or equivalent
  • Registration with the College of Pharmacists (RPh.T designation)
  • 2 years' experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a pharmacy environment
  • Unit dose experience and proficiency with sterile chemotherapy preparation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
