Vitosha Craft Inc is seeking a skilled Web Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our digital design and development team, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet our clients' needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web design and development, with experience in creating mock-ups and storyboards, sourcing and selecting information for inclusion, and designing the appearance, layout, and flow of websites. You will also be responsible for creating and optimizing content for websites using a variety of graphics, databases, animation, and other software.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also be responsible for conducting tests and performing security and quality controls to ensure that our websites meet the highest standards of quality and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet our clients' needs
  • Design the appearance, layout, and flow of websites
  • Create and optimize content for websites using a variety of graphics, databases, animation, and other software
  • Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls
  • Support the social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees
  • Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster
  • Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
  • Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth and Indigenous people

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP education
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in web design and development
  • Strong background in web design and development
  • Experience in creating mock-ups and storyboards
  • Experience in sourcing and selecting information for inclusion
  • Experience in designing the appearance, layout, and flow of websites
  • Experience in creating and optimizing content for websites using a variety of graphics, databases, animation, and other software
  • Experience in conducting tests and performing security and quality controls
