Job Title: Laboratory Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Assistant to join our team at the Bella Coola General Hospital.

Job Summary:

The Laboratory Assistant will provide technical support to the clinical laboratory team, ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of laboratory tests and results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist laboratory staff with specimen collection, processing, and testing
  • Operate laboratory equipment and maintain accurate records
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a laboratory assistant program or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
