Burgess Plumbing Heating & Electrical Co. Ltd. - Journeyman/Woman Plumber

We are seeking a highly skilled Journeyman/Woman Plumber to join our team. As a key member of our plumbing department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and repair plumbing fixtures, pipes, and systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing system layouts
  • Measure, cut, and bend pipes to required shapes and sizes
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Estimate costs and materials for plumbing projects
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in plumbing
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Criminal record check and drug test
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
