Job Title: Billing Rate Clerk

We are seeking a skilled Billing Rate Clerk to join our team at Transport Rolland Menard inc. in a permanent position.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling transportation conveyances, preparing bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents, inspecting and verifying incoming goods against invoices or other documents, overseeing loading and unloading of goods, and ensuring the safe handling of heavy loads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule transportation conveyances and prepare shipping documents
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
  • Oversee loading and unloading of goods and ensure safe handling of heavy loads
  • Use database software to manage shipping information
  • Operate dollies and hand trucks, pallet lifters, and other equipment as needed
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a warehouse environment
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment as required
