About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Trailer Mechanic to join our team at AJIT TRANSPORT INC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks and trailers, including adjustments, replacements, and inspections.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose mechanical issues, estimate repair costs, and recommend solutions to customers.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with dusty conditions
  • Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, flexible, and reliable
