Job Summary

The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in the Aircraft Maintenance program at SIIT. The successful candidate will have a strong background in aviation maintenance and a passion for teaching.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver course materials and instruction to students in the Aircraft Maintenance program
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
  • Stay current with developments in aviation maintenance and make relevant changes to instructional plans and activities
  • Organize and supervise work practicum experiences for students

Requirements

  • Valid Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's License, category E
  • Graduated from an approved Transport Canada-approved ATO avionic program
  • Adult Education Certification with prior teaching experience an asset
  • Understanding of Aviation avionic training program CAR 566
