Quality Assurance Analyst Job Description

Vantix Systems Inc. is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Analyst to support our analytics initiatives and supplement our Data Management Program (DMP).

The scope of the work includes:

  1. Creating test plans and scripts to ensure data quality and integrity.
  2. Validating ETL processes to create accurate data sets for self-service and analytics.
  3. Verifying business intelligence dashboards and analytics for accuracy and reliability.
  4. Developing and implementing data quality rules and data cleansing scripts.
  5. Documenting test results and providing recommendations for improvement.

Key qualifications include:

  • Experience with test script writing using defect management software.
  • Test planning and execution expertise.
  • Understanding of ETL processes in data pipelines.
  • Proficiency in creating and running SQL queries.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence, analytics, and visualization best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Additional skills required:

  • Strong multitasking and adaptability skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Effective time management and minimal supervision required.
  • Ability to manage stress in a fast-paced environment with high expectations.
