Job Title: Road Technician

Le Groupe JLD-Laguë, a leading John Deere dealership, is seeking a skilled Road Technician to join our team. As a Road Technician, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and repairing client equipment or machinery while on the road.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and diagnose client equipment or machinery to identify issues and determine the necessary repairs.
  • Repair and refurbish equipment or machinery within the specified timeframe.
  • Establish diagnostics, plan a work method, and sequence to follow before beginning repairs.
  • Register extra work on the work order and inform the client and workshop foreman.
  • Answer technical questions from clients and obtain payment for work carried out.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the mobile unit and manage parts inventory.
  • Comply with health and safety standards and policies in the workplace.
Requirements:
  • Vocational diploma in mechanics (construction machines, agricultural equipment, heavy machinery, or related equipment).
  • Five years' experience as a workshop or road technician.
  • Passion for agriculture, business, or the industrial field.
  • Manual dexterity, ability to diagnose mechanical problems, autonomy, resourcefulness, quick execution, and discipline.
  • Passion for customer service.
