Job Title: Facilities Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Cleaner to join our team at WESTMAN FACILITY SERVICES.

Job Summary:

The Facilities Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff. This includes sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpeting and upholstered furniture.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a clean and tidy appearance
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Clean and disinfect elevators, changing rooms, and showers
  • Provide basic information to clients and staff regarding facilities and services
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required
  • Shop for food and household supplies as needed
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in cleaning and maintenance an asset
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Values and ethics
Work Environment:

The Facilities Cleaner will work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks and responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The Facilities Cleaner will work 35 hours per week.
