Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Clerk to join our team at TB Food Services Inc DBA Tim Hortons. This is a permanent full-time opportunity with 35 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounting and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals. Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure timely payment.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide recommendations to management on cost-saving initiatives.
  • Cash Handling: Manage cash transactions, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain a high level of accuracy in all financial dealings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping is essential.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Benefits
  • Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Holidays: 10 paid holidays per year, plus statutory holidays.
  • Vacation Time: 2 weeks of paid vacation time per year, increasing with seniority.
