Dishroom Attendant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dishroom Attendant to join our team at West Coast Grill Sooke. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our dishroom and kitchen areas.

• This is a seasonal position, with opportunities for overtime during peak periods.
• The ideal candidate will have strong physical capabilities and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• As a key member of our team, you will be required to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.

1. Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, and equipment to ensure they are free from food residue and bacteria.
2. Operate dishwashers efficiently to minimize energy consumption and water usage.
3. Sort and store cleaning supplies in a designated area, ensuring they are easily accessible when needed.
4. Participate in deep cleaning tasks, such as scrubbing pots and pans, and cleaning ovens and stoves.
5. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
6. Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and deadlines.

• No degree or diploma required, but relevant experience in housekeeping or a related field is an asset.
• Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

• A competitive hourly rate of $18-$22 per hour, depending on experience.
