We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Alliance Transport Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials across various locations. This is a permanent position requiring a valid AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
  • Load and unload goods
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willing to travel for extended periods
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, flexibility, and a strong work ethic. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.
