Job Title: Registered Massage Therapist

Central Avenue Health Centre is seeking a skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality massage therapy services to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Consult with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for clients
  • Apply finger and hand pressure to specific points of the body to promote relaxation and relieve pain
  • Assess clients through range of motion and muscle tests to identify areas of tension and propose treatment plans
  • Explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients to ensure informed decision-making
  • Maintain accurate records of treatments provided
  • Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues to promote relaxation and relieve pain
  • Provide clients with home care instructions and information about techniques to promote ongoing wellness
Requirements:
  • Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists
  • Manual dexterity and ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Standing for extended periods and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Client focus and strong values and ethics
