Job Description

This role plays a vital part in designing and implementing technology-based solutions for complex issues related to data sourcing, transformation, and calculations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud-based actuarial modeling and software, as well as experience working with business stakeholders to define data analysis requirements.

The successful candidate will also have strong knowledge of actuarial calculations, statistics, and financial economics methodologies, as well as experience with agile development approaches and user-focused solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement technology-based solutions for complex data-related issues.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to define data analysis requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Provide expert support during testing phases.
  • Create procedural documentation and provide training to end-users.
Requirements
  • Experience with senior data scripting skills (Python & SQL).
  • Ability to deliver user-focused solutions via an iterative and agile development approach.
  • Understanding of actuarial reporting, data discovery, and analysis requirements.
  • User experience practices and design principles in the context of data analytics applications.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment within core teams.
