About the Opportunity

Nova Scotia Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as a Network Transformation Leader. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the healthcare system and drive transformational change.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and a proven track record of leading complex projects and initiatives. They will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to improve healthcare outcomes and drive system transformation.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders. They will be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the healthcare system and the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high degree of independence, motivation, and change management knowledge. The successful candidate will be a key member of our team and will play a critical role in shaping the future of healthcare in Nova Scotia.

About You
  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related discipline
  • Master's degree in a health-related discipline, health administration, or business administration
  • Eligible for registration with a relevant health discipline/college or association
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a senior leadership or management position with relevant clinical experience in a healthcare environment
  • Certification or additional training in Quality Improvement, Design Thinking, or Change Management is an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to critically analyze evidence-based practices to inform strategy development and organizational planning
  • Proven project management experience
  • Experience in program planning, coordination, service development, implementation, and evaluation required
  • Experience within a healthcare-related environment preferred
  • Ability to analyze and interpret statistical data and monitor quality and performance indicators and benchmarks
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships and partnerships with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
