Job Summary

Jit's Building Maintenance is seeking a seasoned Facilities Management Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our facilities. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, with a focus on ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and prior experience in cleaning or facilities management, although experience is not necessarily required as we provide training.

Responsibilities
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment to maintain our facilities at their best.
  • Maintain accurate financial records of expenses and revenues.
  • Assist cleaners in performing duties when needed, demonstrating a willingness to roll up your sleeves.
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless operation.
  • Establish work schedules that balance productivity with employee well-being.
Work Environment

This role involves working in various environments, including wet/damp and dusty conditions. You must be physically capable of combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
