About This Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Tax Manager or Principal to work out of any of our local offices – Sudbury, Timmins, or North Bay.

Key Responsibilities:

• ">
• Work closely with partners, managers, or other senior staff on business tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory engagements.">
• Deliver high-quality tax planning, services, and advice.">
• Provide support, coaching, and professional development to firm staff with respect to tax knowledge and tax matters on an ongoing basis.">
• Prepare and present technical sessions to firm staff.">

Requirements:

• ">
• A minimum of 10 years of public accounting experience with a tax specialty.">
• Candidates must hold a Canadian Professional Accounting Designation (CPA).">
• Successful completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course or Masters of Tax Program is required.">
• Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, project management, and organizational skills are essential.">
• High proficiency in MS Office, Caseware/Casview, TaxPrep, and tax research software is necessary.">
• Proven project management and time management skills to organize, implement, and execute projects are expected.">
• Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.">
