Senior WW Specialist Solutions Architect

As a Senior WW Specialist Solutions Architect at Amazon, you will be part of the Account Team, responsible for account planning, opportunity identification, and pursuit. You will work closely with customers to understand their complex business problems and help them build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses.

We are looking for a highly technical individual who can dive deep, build complex, AWS-optimized architectures, and help customers accelerate their adoption of AWS services. Your broad responsibilities will include owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead architectural reviews and workshops to advance customer technical objectives.
  • Participate as a leader in AWS technical communities.
  • Provide data and anecdotes on what is working and what is not back to the larger specialist community and product teams.
  • Act as primary point of contact for urgent customer issues in your technical specialty.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications.
  • ~5+ years management of technical, customer-facing resources.
  • ~5+ years of experience building integrations across WFM, CRM, and contact center solutions or experience with communications protocols and APIs such as WebRTC and SIP or similar CCaaS technology.
  • Experience developing solutions and passion for hands-on experience with scripting/coding (e.g. python, java, c#,.NET, or).
  • History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
  • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
  • Computer Science/relevant degree and/or experience highly desired.
