About the Role

ChampionX is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Technical Sales Representative to join our team in Fort McMurray, AB. As a District Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with customers to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions to improve their operations.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet defined territory profit increase goals.
  • Provide technical support to customers, identifying and resolving concerns, and escalating as required.
  • Travel to support business requirements and training opportunities.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Business or Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial), or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.) preferred.
  • Strong computer application literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and build relationships with customers.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 55 pounds chest high.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 0-2 years of customer service/technical sales experience.
  • Specialty chemical industry experience, including Water Treatment and knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems.
  • High computer application literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems.
  • History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation.
