Construction Inspector

As a Construction Inspector with CONSOR Engineers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor the contractor's on-site activities and inspect materials to guarantee adherence to plans, specifications, and contract documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and verify work in progress to ensure compliance with project schedules, contract documents, and plans.
  • Perform complex mathematical calculations and measurements of completed work to date.
  • Maintain a daily report of assigned work activities, contractor labor and equipment, quantity of material received and verified.
  • Conduct on-site material testing and produce as-constructed sketches as required.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum four years of construction inspection experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Obtain any required certifications and pass appropriate qualifications tests for the position in specified time frames.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

This role primarily operates in outdoor work environments that may include exposure to inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, hazard, atmospheric conditions, and bodies of water, depending on project requirements.
