Plant Maintenance Specialist

Engineered Air is a leading manufacturer of industrial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment. We are seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly.
  • Use observation during maintenance inspections and repairs to ensure employees use safe practices when operating equipment.
  • Adjusting, doing inspections, and keeping records of work that has been completed.
  • Reading blueprints / schematics and equipment manuals, using inspection and repair schedules, rebuilding broken machines and training staff members on proper use of equipment.
  • Assemble, dismantle, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot problems with electrical, refrigerant, and duct systems on HVAC equipment.
  • Certificates, licenses of Forklift License, Overhead Crane, WHMIS, Emergency Procedures and Evacuation, PPE is an added advantage.
  • Able to communicate with all workers regardless of barriers and be able to communicate in written and spoken English.
  • Operation and Control- Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
  • Must possess above average math skills and be able to utilize a tape measure efficiently and be able to visualize calculations.
