Nova Scotia Health is a leading healthcare provider in Atlantic Canada, offering a wide range of services to our communities. We are currently seeking a skilled Laundry Attendant to join our team at the Valley Regional Hospital.
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist with maintaining clean and sanitary linen supplies throughout the hospital. This role will involve collecting soiled linen, washing, drying, folding, sorting, and labeling personal resident clothing, as well as ensuring that the linen rooms remain clean and safe.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require a Grade 12 education or equivalent work experience, as well as knowledge of Infection Control procedures. Competencies in other languages, particularly French, are an asset. If you possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, we encourage you to apply.
