About the Role:

Merkur is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Account Director to join our team. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in market research and development strategies to identify new business opportunities;
  • Prospect and develop new business leads;
  • Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships and establish Merkur as a thought leader;
  • Meet with clients to understand their needs and present Merkur's services;
  • Collaborate with operations and human resources teams to ensure seamless delivery of services;
  • Position Merkur as a strategic partner to our clients.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in digital tools and social media;
  • Excellent sales and business development skills;
  • Ability to build relationships with decision-makers in the manufacturing sector;
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills;
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with clients, teams, and partners;
  • Good knowledge of the manufacturing sector;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Dynamism and a results-driven approach;
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Positive and innovative mindset;
  • Tenacity and perseverance;
  • Bilingualism (essential) - English and French (written and spoken).
