Job Title: Construction Labourer

About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Labourer to join our team at SUPREME CONCRETE BUILD INC. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in the construction process, assisting skilled tradespersons and operating equipment to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist skilled tradespersons in various tasks, including drilling, blasting, and operating equipment
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, forms, and barricades
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and fill moulds with materials
  • Assist equipment operators and secure attachments to equipment or trucks
  • Perform general labour tasks, including cleaning and maintaining equipment and work sites
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment


Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in construction or a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work at heights
  • Valid safety certifications and ability to obtain necessary licenses
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
