Job Title: Automotive Service Technician - Red Seal

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician with Red Seal certification to join our team at OPENLANE. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer and company vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct general mechanical inspections and repairs, including brake jobs, exhaust system jobs, and front end alignments.
  • Deliver general maintenance services, such as oil and fluid changes, tire changes, and vehicle check overs.
  • Conduct frame inspections of vehicle undercarriages to ensure no cracks, bends, or other damage exists.
  • Complete pre and post-sale inspections, including test drives.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to apprentice technicians learning the trade.
Requirements:
  • Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Certification.
  • Experience in repair and service of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and components on a variety of vehicles.
  • Valid Drivers' License.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to utilize a smartphone.
