About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Jin Dragon Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation, including cleaning, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Help with food service, including serving customers, taking orders, and handling payments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Restock supplies, including condiments, utensils, and cleaning products.
  • Assist with food storage and handling, including receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies.
  • Participate in kitchen cleaning and sanitizing, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a food service environment is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
  • Availability to work 35 hours per week.
