About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team at Parkland Motels I & II. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Support Services: Mend clothing and linens, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition, provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
