About the Role

Prodigy Education is a global leader in game-based learning, and we're seeking a skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering team, you'll play a crucial role in building and operating a high-performance, scalable, and secure technology platform that will transform education and deliver effective learning experiences to every student in the world.

Your Impact
  • You will design and develop exceptional backend systems that bring immersive experiences to life for young learners.

  • You will balance swift development with future-proofing, ensuring that our systems are resilient, scalable, and high-performing.
  • You will contribute to the team's technical direction and cultivate a culture of excellence, providing valuable input in code reviews and pairing sessions.
  • You will ensure that our backend systems are secure, scalable, and performant, handling over 150k concurrent users.
About You
  • 5+ years of experience as a backend developer or Full Stack Developer with a focus on infrastructure and tooling.
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platform.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining backend services using languages such as Node, Python, or Java.
  • Hands-on experience with modeling NoSQL/SQL databases and caching strategies.
  • Experience in DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and monitoring.
  • Prior experience with LiveOps in game development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in an agile environment and a focus on team success.
