Job Title: Estate Litigation Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estate Litigation Associate to join our team at Linds & Associates. As an Estate Litigation Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting our lawyers in estate litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate files to review case facts, determine appropriate processes, and identify key issues.
  • Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, correspondence, and other documents as needed.
  • Liaise with clients to obtain information and ensure they are current with the status of their file.
  • Assist with estate administration, guardianships, will challenges, and interpretations.
  • Research and analyze various issues, processes, case law, codes, and legislation.
  • Communicate directly with service providers, judicial officials, and bank/financial institution officers.
  • Prepare reports as needed.
Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited Law Clerk program.
  • Years of experience as a Law Clerk, with direct and practical experience in estate litigation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and perform legal research.
  • Developing aptitude to coach and mentor junior law clerks.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and ability to work independently and in a team-oriented atmosphere.
