Overseas Goods Hauler

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced overseas goods hauler to join our team at White Rock Freight Services Inc. As a key member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in transporting goods and materials across the country.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time position that requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. You will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, overseeing the condition of the vehicle, and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
You will also be required to perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
In addition, you will be expected to load and unload goods, tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- AZ class license
- Air Brakes Endorsement
- Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
This position involves working up to 60 hours per week, with a guaranteed 40 hour minimum. You will be required to drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
Compensation PackageThe estimated annual salary for this position is between $60,000 to $80,000, based on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental coverage, and a generous paid time off program.
