Koch-Glitsch is seeking a skilled Tower Mechanic Level I to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our Field Service team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality services to our customers, including blinding and deblending work, internal vessel work, and tower repairs.
Key Responsibilities- Work in gas plant and refinery environments, including at heights and ground level.
- Handle parts and materials, and work around cranes and rigging.
- Work as a Confined Space Safety Attendant, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Read and fill out safety paperwork, including confined space documentation.
- Hold relevant certifications, such as OSSA Confined Space Entry & Monitoring, H2S Alive, and OSSA Fall Protection.
- Minimum of 6 months experience working in construction or trades-related environments.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs and ladders, and stand for long periods.
- Respiratory Protective Equipment training required.
- Must be willing and able to meet all Company and Customer project entry requirements, including specific training and alcohol & drug testing.
- Ability to work shifts, travel within Canada, and be away for extended periods.
