Key Responsibilities- Service Department Operations: Manage the Service department operations, including scheduling, maintenance, and repair work.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of Service department staff, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing complaints and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Service department, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Compliance and Quality: Ensure that all Service department operations are in compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery.
- Education: Post-secondary diploma or degree in a mechanical/technical field preferred.
- Experience: Several years' previous management experience in a technical environment with proven leadership abilities preferred.
- Skills: Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes. Able to identify key issues and creatively and strategically overcome internal challenges or obstacles.
- Personal Qualities: High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability. Proven mechanical abilities, and strong working knowledge of mechanical application and repair techniques.
