About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Butcher to join our team at MEDGRACEL FILIPINO AND ASIAN STORE. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our meat department is well-stocked and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Preparing Meats: Clean and prepare meats to prepare for processing or cutting, and cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat.
  • Customer Service: Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and ensure that the meat department is well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Teamwork: Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers, and work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Work Conditions: Work under pressure and in a physically demanding environment, and maintain a high level of energy and productivity throughout the workday.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate and work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding and requires the ability to work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude are essential for this role.
