Key Responsibilities:

  • Narcotic and Controlled Medications: Accurately count and reconcile Narcotic and Controlled medications to prevent errors and maintain a secure environment.
  • Workplace Efficiency: Organize and efficiently check products to maintain a smooth workflow, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Confidentiality and Privacy: Protect patient confidentiality and maintain the highest standards of professionalism in handling sensitive information.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with legal requirements and workplace policies to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a culture of inclusiveness and belonging in the workplace, promoting a positive and respectful environment for all employees.

Requirements:

  • Registration and Licensing: Be licensed and registered as a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) with the relevant authorities.
  • Experience: Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmacy environment, with a preference for high-volume filling environments.
  • Technical Skills: Have experience with PacMed or PacVision, and possess effective communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Leadership and Organizational Skills: Demonstrate organizational, multitasking, attention to detail, and leadership skills to excel in this role.
  • Language Skills: Bilingualism in English and French is an asset, but not required.
