Position Summary

The Warehouse Operations Shift Lead plays a crucial role in achieving our company objectives for safety, efficiency, quality, and inventory accuracy. This position emphasizes the management of Team Members and the implementation of proactive operations action plans specific to receiving, warehousing, and shipping product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Management and Development: Conduct regular formal employee reviews and informal feedback discussions. Train and coach staff on WMS systems and act as a subject matter expert.
  • Operations Management: Work closely with staff to manage day-to-day operations. Help drive goal, target, and performance standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide exemplary customer service as the first point of contact. Ensure all KPIs are achieved for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Training and Development: Ensure employees are trained and aware of all standard operating procedures and best practices.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with 1-2 years of relevant warehouse experience and front-line supervision experience. You must possess skills in leadership, organization, and communication, as well as proven analytical and problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements

  • Education and Training: Must have a solid understanding of warehousing and distribution. Familiar with all material handling equipment and knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong leadership abilities.
