About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a key member of our Financial Services department, you will be responsible for processing and managing accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and experience working with computerized accounting systems. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial data, responding to customer and vendor inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have:

  • A graduate degree in a related field, such as accounting or business administration
  • Minimum one year of recent experience in a computerized accounting environment
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide exceptional customer service

Hours and Compensation

This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary range of $24.77 - $27.62 per hour. Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
