Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Educational Assistant to support students in our Inclusive Education Department in Langley. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic outdoor classroom environment, assisting students with diverse learning needs and supporting the classroom teacher with various tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist students with learning activities and instruction in an inclusive classroom setting
  • Support the classroom teacher with organization tasks, such as taking attendance and preparing learning materials
  • Direct small groups and provide individual support as needed
  • Work collaboratively with the classroom teacher and other support staff to ensure student success
Requirements
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
  • First Aid with CPR Level C certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor classroom environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
