We are a leading environmental consulting firm providing comprehensive services to the mining sector across Canada. Our team of experts offers multi-disciplinary expertise in water quality, geochemistry, aquatic biology, and environmental statistics.
Our offices are located in various locations across Canada, including Ontario and British Columbia. We are seeking a highly skilled Permitting Expert for Environmental Projects to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental permitting, project management, and technical writing. They will assist with preparing environmental permitting applications, analyzing data, and participating in technical meetings with clients and stakeholders. The successful candidate will also contribute to proposal preparation and support senior scientists on larger projects.
Key skills required include strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in software applications such as MS Word and MS Excel. Knowledge of federal, provincial, and territorial environmental legislation is essential, as well as experience in conceptual design of water balances and wastewater management plans. A degree in environmental science or engineering is required, along with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
