About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Partner to join our team at Watercare Services Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting strategic financial and operational decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Analysis and Reporting: Interpret financial reports and insights to identify risks and opportunities across the business, and provide recommendations to enhance the organization's understanding of key financial and non-financial information.
  2. Project Accounting and Cost Management: Work with Management Accountants to analyze cost and performance drivers, conduct onsite project reviews, and ensure expenditure is capitalizable and compliant with financial regulations.
  3. Business Case Development and Review: Assess and review business cases to ensure investments align with Watercare's strategic and risk profile, and provide financial leadership and guidance to project managers.
  4. Financial Leadership and Training: Provide training and guidance to project managers on financial matters, and collaborate with the project control team to track and drive asset capitalization.
Requirements
  1. Proven Experience: 7+ years working in management accounting, with 3 years minimum in a senior partnership role or project delivery role.
  2. Financial Qualifications: Degree qualified in Finance, CA or equivalent.
  3. Technical Skills: Advanced excel skills, ability to read and understand project programs, and experience in construction contracts and associated contractual adherence.
