Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Assistant to join our team. As a Pastry Assistant, you will be responsible for carrying out pastry-related operations, ensuring compliance with established standards for product quality, recipes, and presentation. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve our goals.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of Ingredients and Products
    • Prepare fruit and other ingredients for use in pastry production.
    • Participate in the preparation of entremets, cakes, pasta, and other products according to Première Moisson recipes.
  • Baking and Packaging
    • Bake pastries and tarts to meet quality and presentation standards.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to assemble and package food products.
  • Quality and Safety
    • Apply Première Moisson's quality, hygiene, sanitation, and occupational health and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma - preferred
    • Pastry work experience - an asset
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to carry out supervisor's instructions
    • Methodical, flexible, focused on product quality, results, and teamwork
