Responsibilities

  • Conducting regular safety audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinating with external vendors and suppliers to source necessary materials and equipment.
  • Developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment failures.
  • Collaborating with our engineering team to design and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Providing guidance and training to junior technicians to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need a solid understanding of precision power press tooling and setting, as well as experience in managing teams and projects. A degree in a related field or equivalent experience would be an asset. Additionally, you'll need strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.
