Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsperson to join our team at Intelligent Engineering Design Ltd. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed engineering designs and drawings, developing design sketches, and preparing construction specifications and estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and detailed engineering designs and drawings using CAD software
  • Develop and prepare design sketches to visualize project concepts
  • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates to ensure project feasibility
  • Write technical reports and specifications to document project progress
  • Estimate costs and materials required for project completion
  • Complete documentation packages and drawing sets for project delivery
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors to ensure quality
Requirements
  • College diploma or CEGEP certificate in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in architectural drafting or a related field
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and Autodesk REVIT
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
