We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Field & Infusion Nurse (RPN/LPN) to join our team at Innomar Strategies. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in home and specialty clinic settings.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and support the administration of IV infusion treatments in home and clinic settings.
- Monitor post-injection/infusion treatments and chart/report on all activities as directed by program protocols and standards of professional nursing documentation.
- Provide patient education and support based on program protocols, individually or in groups.
- Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints in accordance with Innomar training and policies & procedures.
- Coordinate daily with patients, case managers, physicians, and other departments to meet established timelines for scheduling appointments, treatments, and communication of information.
- Perform administrative duties such as monthly clinic audits, supply ordering, and other duties as assigned.
- Participate in team web-based meetings/training sessions to maintain and enhance professional practice standards.
- Consult with physicians, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology clients regarding education and implementation of product-specific programs.
- Travel within designated IBU and surrounding IBUs to meet operational needs.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Practical Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Experience with IV therapy is an asset.
- Diploma/University degree in nursing or related field.
- Current registration with provincial licensing body; CPR certificate.
- Experience in acute care inpatient/outpatient or homecare setting.
- ACLS, PALs, MS, and CVAA Certification, and central venous lines/port experience are considered assets.
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills in dealing with patients, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Able to work autonomously with little supervision as part of a larger team.
- Able to travel to clinics and homecare appointments within a set geographical boundary.
