We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Assembler to join our team at Jitaku Corp., a leading furniture manufacturing company. As a Cabinet Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling wooden or metal furniture and fixture parts to form subassemblies and complete articles.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Finishing: Assemble wooden or metal furniture and fixture parts to form subassemblies and complete articles. Prepare, sand, and trim wooden furniture and fixture parts as needed.
- Quality Control: Inspect assembled furniture and fixtures for defects and reinforce with dowels or other supports as necessary. Install hardware on furniture and fixtures.
- Material Handling: Handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines and achieve quality standards.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience in furniture manufacturing or woodworking is an asset.
- Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads, work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Language: English language proficiency.
- Work Environment: Dusty work environment.
- Work Setting: Furniture manufacturing company.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
