Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of client facilities to ensure the safety and security of personnel and assets.
  • Respond to emergency situations, including alarms, security breaches, and property damage, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with first responders, including police, fire, and ambulance services, to ensure effective response and resolution.
  • Write detailed incident reports to document security incidents and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Build relationships with surrounding businesses to enhance security and provide value-added services.
  • Provide technical support to troubleshoot security systems and ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service to clients and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the security industry.
  • Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License and a clean driving abstract.
  • Availability to work overnight shifts.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in handcuff training and self-defense.
  • Occupational First Aid Level 2 certification is an asset.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
