Job Title: Hotel Food and Beverage Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Food and Beverage Service Manager to join our team at Times Universal Victoria Holdings Limited.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our fine dining establishment, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement
  • Monitor revenues to determine labor costs and optimize staffing levels
  • Supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a high-performing team
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff
  • Cost products and services to ensure profitability and efficiency
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including food, beverages, and supplies
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, including food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues
  • Advise on wine selection and serve wine to customers
  • Manage events, including weddings, corporate functions, and other special occasions
  • Order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware
  • Supervise food and beverage servers and other staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration, Hotel Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a fine dining establishment
  • Proven track record of success in managing budgets, staff, and operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
