About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Foreman/Forewoman to join our team at Earthscape Ontario. As a key member of our Property Maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional landscape maintenance services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of a landscape maintenance crew, providing onsite training and guidance as needed.
  • Plan labor requirements, equipment needs, and material deliveries to ensure timely completion of jobs.
  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in lawn and garden care, ensuring high-quality results for every client.
  • Maintain and enforce standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, jobsites, and shop/yard areas.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in ornamental horticulture and landscape maintenance.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience in leading a team of lead hands and crew members.
  • Ability to identify turf, plant, and tree care requirements, recommend care solutions, and execute techniques for optimal lawn and garden health.
  • Experience in a broad range of landscaping maintenance site work, including pruning, mulching, turf care, and hard surface care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and clients.
  • A growth mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • A minimum G Class license.
